Thanks for watching, what is your favourite myth?
Tyre. Interesting. Were they Israelites or Canaanites; Semitic or Hamitic ?
cut your router ..(we dont want u here …!)
Kardamma
Seems unlikely (for starters) that Cadmus introduced the alphabet. Cadmus is part of an earlier generation of heroes, before the Trojan war, and yet the Phoenician alphabet did not get introduced until c. 800 BC, well after the Bronze Age Collapse. Perhaps that is a later addition to the story, to provide a historical explanation.
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐To cadmos ๐
Can someone explain how the descents of the teacher of the Phoenician alphabet forget how to read and write? Cadmus is the son of Agenor who is Canaan. So, if Canaan learned from these five imo watchers or divine council members the small g gods in the Bible from after the flood as well as before the flood taught them to read and write whoโs sons were the might men of old the men of renown: Herakles, Dionysus, and I think Perseus, Theseus; demigods and Olympians. Some are Nereids like Achilles. And why are they called Phoenicians when Phoenix is The ancestor of the Phoenicians? Cadmus was a Canaanite not a Phoenician. Thatโs like calling Phoenicians, Thebans or something
Phoenicians are black
I found out from Mr Imhotep that Cadmus IS BLACK ๐ค Blessings and Hugs ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ and Europa IS ALSO BLACK ๐ค!
Don't know why cadmus is my family name. I like the sound of it but not the story surrounding it
Fake history
I feel like Zeus might be a sex offender. ๐ฑ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Composer Franz Schubert mentioned Cadmus in a song I sang in a recital years ago!
"An die Leier:"
About a harpist who wishes to play and sing of the glories of battle. His harp however plays only love songs!
๐
is the dragon he slew meant to be the draco constellation?
Whats the music?
Why while they are all described as Black in the ancients, they show white because they falsify history, Cadmos is a black and Europe also the king of Tire also inachos Danaos, Belos, Pelagos all blacks.
Heโs Phoenician, stop depicting them as white
So wait… Europa x Zeus, and also Cadmus' daughter (Europa's niece), Semele, also x Zeus?
Man he's really getting around huh..
Wait also… Europa was the mother of Minos huh? King of Crete? And Semele, his daughter, had Dionysus…
Yeah Greek myths are weird. Most myths are weird in some way. Nice video ๐
"In this case, … was Zeus himself"
well…… 70% of the time it's Zeus isn't it
Or well, 70% of the ones I know, at least.
That's crazy. What a story!
A hero becomes the monster he slayed. This is most likely a political metaphor/satire, meaning a revolutionary leader becomes the corrupt tyrant he overthrew.
