Greek Guide: Festivals, live acts and big-name artists

Get ready for a spectacular day celebrating Hellenic culture, food, and community at the Philhellenika Festival Fairfield this Sunday.

You’ll get all your usual fare of food, live music, traditional dancing and stalls, but this first-time event will also offer something different – wrestling.

That’s right; Melbourne City Wrestling (MCW) will be there bringing all the body slams and powerbombs.

Local favourites like Niko’s Cakes, Spitaki and Rooster Bar will be among the food stalls, while dance groups from the Cretan Brotherhood, Greek Community of Melbourne, and Pontian community will perform throughout the day. Musical acts include Demotika and Omados.

It’s a day of fun and culture for the whole family.

Philhellenika Festival Fairfield is a featured event of our Greek Guide which you can visit on our site for more information.
